Team bonding at its best

On the weekend of August 7-9th Mackay Redbacks Inline Hockey Club had a team bonding weekend at Kinchant Outdoor Educational Centre. Some of the courses completed were the low ropes, high ropes, mountain biking, kayaking and the giant swing which was a particularly gratifying experience. Here are some pictures of our weekend.

New Year means new players

It’s great to see so many new players, beginners and returning senior players.

What a great turn up we have had the last few weeks. Lots of new players have turned up for our try out sessions on Friday nights and as the numbers have almost doubled, we now have them playing games on Wednesday nights at 5.30pm.

The sport of Inline Hockey is becoming ever more popular as it can be played in all seasons, stopping only at school holiday periods. If you would like to come down and tryout on a Friday evening, all the gear is supplied, we would love to see you there.
